Last night’s show in Buffalo was awesome. We had a blast and I’d like to thank everyone who came out early to see us.
With that being said (it is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce this) but Doses, as you all know it, is done. There’s no other way to put it than there was a change of heart with a few members, none of which there are any grudges with at all. They have decided that it was time to move on with work, relationships, and just life and if Doses isn’t meant to be apart of that life than I fully support that decision.
I would like to point out that these people, my band members and family were the only ones who would give me a chance a vocalist. I had never been in a band before and they put their trust in me to be their front-woman so I’d like to especially thank them.
This decision was come to (in full) Sunday night, before our show Monday, in a somewhat sudden manner. It has not been decided whether Joey and I (Kelce) will be continuing with the name Doses with new members or if we are going to be looking to start/join new projects but we know for sure that we want to keep making music.
I want to thank everyone who has ever supported us, came to a show, bought a shirt, sang along, and had confidence in us. I’ve met some of the most amazing people because of this band and I will never forget you all. We all can’t thank you enough and if Joey and I do decide to continue under this name we hope you will continue to show us the same support that have gotten from you for the past year and a half.
I can’t stress enough that I fully support the other members of this band in their decision and if they make music in the future I can’t wait to hear it.
Have a happy Tuesday/Week/Month/Year/Life
One of the best perks and surprises of PropertyOfZack has been the countless relationships we’ve been able to develop with young bands who we hope can make a difference somewhere in some way to some person. Around a year or so ago, PropertyOfZack was introduced to the Paganos, a fantastic family who live in Upstate New York that go out of their way to do what they believe in every single day. They support bands, they give them a floor to sleep on, they bring them into their family, and they welcome everyone who has ever needed a community to Be Part Of Something.
Over the past few months, Vito Pagano and I have been working, in conjunction with Still Alive Clothing, to release a compilation featuring 20 bands that have slept over at the Pagano’s house in the past 12 months. Tonight we are incredibly excited to be revealing Be Part Of Something. The free compilation features exclusive and new songs from Real Friends, Pentimento, Last Call, and Fingers Crossed, among incredible songs by some of our other favorite bands.
